To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Jasper Chamber Concerts and the 20th anniversary of the Jasper String Quartet, we commissioned new works from four of our generation’s most exciting composers. These world premieres, by composers Patrick Castillo, Brittany J. Green, Reinaldo Moya, and Michelle Ross, inspire each of our programs this season - illuminating the singular world of each composer while connecting to the rich history of string quartets.

In addition to the concerts at Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting, JCC is continuing its Community Connections initiative, in partnership with WRTI and Allegro Music Consultants. Community Connections brings the power of world-class chamber music and diverse programming to community venues. In the 2025/2026 season, JCC Community Connections will present six days of educational programming in Philadelphia public schools, fostering love and passion for music and art in a new generation.
